convention info + rates
Age is determined by January 1st, 2023.
Early rate deadline is 90 days prior to your city event.
Dancers must register for the full weekend of convention classes to be eligible for scholarships and competition entry.
Dancers must be in their age appropriate room for scholarship auditions.
If your city event is canceled for any reason, a studio credit will be held for the following year or another city of your choice. No full refunds under any circumstances.
Observer wristbands are only required to watch convention classes. (competition & The Outro Show are free to watch!)

Competition entry limits will vary based on your city. Please check your specific city or email with any questions.
Music is due one week prior to competition.
Registration for competition entry is cut off 3 weeks prior to your city event.
Post registration Outro Dance Convention LLC is given the rights to use any photo or video of persons attending for advertising and publicity purposes.
Dancers must register for the full weekend of convention classes to be eligible for scholarships and competition entry.
No dangerous props are allowed at any event. Studio will have three minutes total to bring props on and off the stage- after that points will be deducted. Outro staff are not responsible to help with props under any circumstances. Event director will make the final decision if the prop is allowed or not.
Studio must be paid in full to guarantee your competition entries.
scholarships
All scholarships may only be used at an Outro Dance Convention event, city of your choice!
Dancers will have the opportunity to be awarded either half or full Outro Dance Convention scholarships.
To qualify for any scholarship, dancers must attend scholarship/agency auditions- no exceptions.
Single day dancers are not eligible for any scholarships.
A-List Artist Scholarships
At every regional city event each faculty member will award dancers with scholarships who excel in their specific style of dance. We want to acknowledge the exceptional talent these dancers have.
